Meredith has a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Wesleyan University and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from the Bank Street College Graduate School of Education.
Meredith taught with Kate at the Pace Little School from 1995-1999 and re-joined the staff at the Downtown Little School in 2005. In the interim she worked as the founding Teacher-Director of the Williamsburg Neighborhood Nursery School, an early childhood program in Brooklyn that is modeled after the Little School. She is the author of a children’s book called Sometimes You Get What You Want, published by HarperCollins. Meredith has almost 30 years of experience as a teacher and school director. She has broadened her work with families to include online workshops, podcasts and individual parenting support. The unique and straightforward clarity of her advice on such loaded topics as bedtime, potty training, separation and more has served countless DLS families; and Meredith now has an ever expanding audience of parents who appreciate her gimmick free counsel.
