Beginning with the home visit at the start of the 2s class and continuing throughout the child’s years at the Little School, teachers work hard to maintain open and ongoing communication with families and to build bridges between the worlds of home and school. Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year, and for each conference teachers prepare narrative reports detailing the child’s school experience and setting goals for the coming months. Teachers are available for more informal communication—in person, by phone or by email— throughout the school year.
