We stay in touch with many alumni families who have gone on to both public and private schools after DLS.  Their feedback helps us know that we are preparing children well for the demands of elementary school.

 

Our local public schools are some of the best in the city. Parents from DLS who choose these schools like the continuing sense of community that comes with attending a neighborhood school.

 

Some of our families apply to private schools. Because of the small size of our graduating classes, the school’s directors are able to spend time with each family discussing school options and even visiting schools to help find the best fit. The directors also work closely with classroom teachers to complete school reports with care, making sure that each child’s unique strengths and personality are captured.
